Smoking Cessation and Tobacco Use

Tobacco use has been associated with over 10 types of cancer.

Here at HOA we can help walk you through the smoking/tobacco cessation journey to reduce your risks for cancer from tobacco use and improve your overall health – even if you have already been diagnosed with cancer.

Our certified smoking cessation specialist, Tricia Eveleigh, FNP-BC will sit down with you, one on one, and examine your smoking and tobacco use history, including:

• what efforts you have made in the past,
• what has or has not worked for you, and
• what is stopping you from quitting for good.

We will formulate an individualized plan to empower you to quit tobacco for good.

We may utilize things such as nicotine replacement therapy, medication, dietician and social worker consultation. We may even incorporate our relationship with the YMCA.

No matter what, no matter how, we are committed to working with you to help you quit smoking/using tobacco. You don’t need to do this alone!

Just ask your provider for a referral for smoking cessation.
